5col Survival Supply’s Attachenator Kit is now available. This clever kit comes with everything you need to attach all kinds of gear to a PALS grid, a backpack, your belt, and more.
The kit includes:
- 4 ITW GTSP Cordlocs
- 5 ft. 1/8″ diameter Shock Cord
- 5 ft. MIL-C-5040h Type 3 Parachute Cord
This kit can be very convenient for the guy who doesn’t already have these components on hand. In order to piece together a kit like this, you would have to buy all the separate components in bulk which not everyone wants to do.
I have used these same components to do all kinds of things like:
- Mount a TQ to a PALS grid
- Attach trekking poles to a backpack
- Attach water bottles to a backpack shoulder strap
- Make a strap for managing a sling on a rifle
- Make retaining straps or a grid for securing bulky outerwear to a pack
