Griffin Armament’s new Maritime Receiver Extension features seven drainage holes incorporated into its design that allows water to drain. Four of the ports are located on the back of the tube and the remaining three at located in the rearward three adjustment holes.
The Maritime Receiver Extension is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and made to mil-spec dimensions. Many “mil-spec” receiver extensions are made from 6061 aluminum and mil-spec in dimension only. This is certainly not the type of thing that everyone needs but Griffin Armament was able to bring it to the market at a price that is competitive with other 7075 receiver extensions of known quality.
