The FirstSpear Retro-Fit Cummerbund Kit converts your old Velcro secured cummerbund to accept the Tubes closure system. I am not necessarily as Velcro-phobic as some people but plate carriers tend to use it extensively enough that it can become an issue. Velcro wears out, makes noise, and, perhaps worst of all, loses function if it gets extremely dirty (clogged with snow, mud, or other debris).
