Smith & Wesson is up to something. It appears that S&W has a new product release planned for April 12th. They have posted a teaser video and a daily picture on their Facebook page that is only available for a brief time. Here are the puzzle pieces so far…
I don’t know anything that you don’t. We can gather that whatever is coming is part of the ever expanding M&P line that encompasses everything from J-Frame Revolvers, to pocket autos, to full size handguns, and even AR-15s. That is a pretty broad range of products.
What do you think S&W is going to drop on April 12th?
I think it is pretty clearly going to be a subcompact 5+1/6+1 pocket semi-auto. What is left to know is the caliber.

The first pic is the “telling” one to me. It looks slimmer, but that could be my bias towards wanting a single-stack. The other two could be the take-down lever and grip on any M&P auto.
